Giancarlo Mora is a technology leader and cloud engineering expert with a decade of experience spanning DevOps, site reliability, and automation. As Chief Technology Officer, he oversees the architecture and delivery of VRFY’s secure, scalable systems, ensuring performance and reliability across high-trust environments.
With a background in both startup and enterprise settings, Giancarlo combines hands-on technical depth with leadership vision. Certified as an AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, and Developer, and holding credentials as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Linux Professional (LPIC), he brings a rare blend of infrastructure mastery and strategic insight.
At VRFY, Giancarlo leads the engineering team in advancing cloud, automation, and DevOps capabilities that power the company’s AI-driven solutions. His focus is on building resilient, efficient, and future-ready systems that scale with innovation.

He is certified as an AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, and Developer, as well as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Linux Professional (LPIC).
Education: He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica and a Bachillerato from Liceo Experimental Bilingüe.
